The Cliffhanger – the only over-water swing ride at sea – has been unveiled on the top deck of MSC Cruises’ MSC World America.
Nestled in the heart of the ship’s Family Aventura district, the swing beckons thrill seekers looking for a rush of excitement.
This attraction has four seats that start off close to the deck.
Powered arms lift them into the starting position – up and out over the edge of the ship.
From there, riders swing back and forth 50 meters above the ocean, enjoying amazing views of the water and sky.
Bruns-group was asked to develop and build a swing ride again, just like the ‘Over the Edge’ swing on the A’dam Tower in Amsterdam.
But this time, not on a building – but on top of a cruise ship!
